I watched all three seasons of the anime Hell Girl around a week ago and decided to draw some fan art today. I choose Hone Onna since she just seemed fun to draw. Fun to draw? Sure. Easy to draw? Nope. This is my first time drawing a girl who's actually over seven years old, so as you can see, I have very little practice drawing females. This is still a large work in progress, the line art isn't even finished, I just added some quick coloring to see how the skull effect came out. Pfft, I hope this isn't too creepy or anything, I have to admit, I like drawing creepy characters.
The character does not belong to me, she belongs to the creators of Hell Girl. The timer is probably about half an hour off since I was working on homework.

Glad you like it. ^^ Hopefully I'll finish it this afternoon, but I might not have time until the weekend.
I really liked the anime, it's definitely in the horror genre, but not extremely gory horror like some I've watched. I actually find this character really amusing usually, but I felt like drawing a somewhat creepy picture of her.

Well, I usually post things as a work in progress since I like posting my drawings the day that I start working on them but usually don't have time to finish them that day. This means that I never have any idea whether it'll look alright by the time I'm finished or just be a complete failure, so I don't usually risk posting in Intermediate. (Pfft, that probably didn't make much sense.)

I liked the series, I'm not sure if you would though since you're more into fantasy animes with lots of short fight scenes.
