so, hi everyone. i'm not looking to make an adoptable species, instead I'd like to CHANGE one of my current character's species
i drew her above, she is currently a canine-type creature. i'd like to change her into some type of dragon, but not the big huge scaly type

So, the first thing I would suggest is stay away from wolf-looking species. Even fluffy dragons.
~ Give there looks a reason. Like A polar bear has a thick coat to keep it warm in the arctic waters.
~Stay away from wolves, armor, fluffy dragons, horses, anything that you see allot of.
~ Choose where you want them to live. The arctic? The rain forest? Underground? Caves?
~ Do they have powers? If so, what is reasonable?
~ Do they have wings? can they fly, or only glide. Can they use them at all?
Think first about how to make your species different. Since all are based off something, don't choose a common speices. I chose a alligator and a caribou for two of my species. Maybe try a Dhole or a coyote. Or even a western of eastern dragon {If your going for more cuddly, I would suggest eastern.}
