we've been watching azumanga daoih in anime club.
EERMYGERDSAKAKI!!!! she's my favorite. I love that she's this big, loner-looking girl on the outside, but that she's actually just shy and love cutie things<3 like cats. which brings me to talk about our other friend in the picture. that's Chess, a new OC of mine.

He's a big nerd who's been genetically mutated and helps a secret branch of the government regulate black magic creatures (the gov't branch is actually full of white magic creatures... potion masters, fairies, uniquadricorns, etc...) Chess was mutated to become an "improved" version of himself(a computer decides what you need-streng,intellect, dexterity, or other stuff people need to be able to fight monsters) in rare cases, the computer matches people with animal mutations. and so Chess became part cat. He's not really content with it.

I had fun drawing all cell-shadey. I like how it came out!
