I don't participate in role plays, but I read them. I think a shark/ocean life role play would be interesting.

Though I'm not a RPer, I get this too with other things. Maybe I'm just not a very good artist, but when I try to do something a little different stylistically (Read: Faces) or that isn't a wolf, I feel like nobody comments. And adoptable species- Most of them are wolves or otherwise fluffy.

Now that I've complained your ear off, changed the subject, and probably offended a bunch of people; nice pic. Sharks are cool *nod*

I know what you mean. I once made a bird RP, and it sounded cool and I put a lit of work into it, but it failed. :( and personally I'm a bit annoyed with there being too many warrior cat RPs. It seems every time I look under fantasy RPs they're ALWAYS warriors. And there actually is a website for warrior RPs. So I like your idea of more unique role plays ^w^

Yes, I understand your feelings on this EXACTLY.
But I think that's just the way the world works. People like to fit in with things that are the same.
But keep in mind that it's always the things that are different that get big later on.
So it may seem like its failing now, but over time if you stick with what you're doing, it will make it big eventually.

I'm not much of a RPer, but I can speak from example with my comic.
I tried a lot of different things with it, and it sort of sucked and floated for a little while with no one looking at it.
A long while later, it got fans etc. etc.
So, just keep at it.
I'm sure even in RP's you'll make one people like eventually!
