Yes. I have drawn a mermaid...(like, once) on here. this one is...well...failure, as you can see.

I have no idea how to draw water...or a skyline, for that matter. (hence, the W.I.P) Any tips or suggestions for that, or just in general? Thoughts, critiques? Lemme know!

I use airbrush for the water and the sky for the water I normally use darker blues and purples and for the sky I use light blues and white for clouds. With rocks I just use gray (not airbrush). I really like your picture though.

I would put a darker blue on bottom straight across, then the sky blue on top. Now start with the top and put lighter blue streaks in it, brush size 3. Then use the blender and run it around to make cloud like swirls, water is the same, but use darker blues and put some light in there as well, once more blender and blend them making swishes like waves. That is how I do the sky and water and grass, make the water come over the skyline a little though so it's not flat. (: Hope my mess of atempting to help, helps. ((:

for water, try different shades of blue, darker for far away, lighter for up close, use the smudge to blend them together.

I like it, it looks like it was done with water colors. Very nice, it looks very good. I am glad I could help you out. ^_^ That that I told you is my tecnique that I use for water the sky and even grass, it works well for me I am glad it worked for you as well. <3
