Stoked on Snow

Postby Shiko Hayashi » Mon Feb 13, 2012 10:42 am

A tribute to my new favorite hobby, snowboarding.

I recently got back from my weekend ski trip, and for the first time I did snowboarding.
It was so much fun!
The snow was perfect and it was chilly. I went down on the green slope first, not being able to find the Bunny hill, and it was hilarious.
I ended up spending 60% of the time on my knees, trying to get up on my board and stay that way. I was too scared to go to fast though, so I ended up falling every time I decided I was going to fast.
^_^;

In the end of the slope, I was completely wiped out as I fell and tumbled the rest of the way down. No broken bones or pulled muscles, thankfully, but my shoulders are killing me from the exertion of getting up on the board and falling off. (physically unfit in every way)

Despite that, the rest of the 40% was spent having loads of fun.
So, here's a sketch to, in a way, show how much fun I had and that I'm back!

this world could rot
die, and kill itself off
but a promise is a promise
and promises should always be kept
