Thanks c:
How I do the fur- (Really this is the whole process) Do my sketch, do my secondary sketch, make my lines... yadayadayada.... throw down my base colors. NOW- I duplicate my base colors layer and color it a shady color (not black). Then I set it to multiply, take a soft eraser, lower the opacity to under 100 and just block in where the fur would go. Then I whack the opacity up to about 150 and go back with a smaller eraser brush and touch up on each part. By this time I have hidden my final lines and I am left with a lineless piece. After that, I toss in a background and set some light colors on top of the fur (FOR THE LOVE OF SHADING, DONT CHOOSE WHITE.) to overlay where the light would touch. Darks go where there is no light c=
I suck at explaining but I hope that gives you an insight on something.
