No offense! But the long ears the color, the face structure, and the length of the tail show resemblence. And yes, it would make a fine collection of your species! Perhaps you should name the species: Eyoreg or Eyrorg or something!

Well it's not meant to be eyeore, and not every individual from the species would be grey. They were kinda donkey based, I don't know...
