Whew! I finally completed Hoang's ref. You can see his facial ref. in my gallery. His other side is the same as the one shown. c:
Name: Hoang Da (Cantonese for 'Feral')
Age: 20 (Adult)
Gender: Male
Species: Marsoise Dragon
These dragons live on rocky sea cliffs. They are as tall as a man at the shoulder, and extremely fast and nimble. Their claws can extend and help them to cling to the crumbling vertical surfaces on which they spend their lives. In fact, they can hold their grip so well that they sometimes sleep on the cliff face.
Their back fins are to soak up early afternoon sunlight and give them energy, like ancient Dimetrodon- these dragons are cold blooded.
They eat fish from the sea and eggs stolen from the nests of cliff-nesting seabirds. They can swim very well if needed.
The feathers on their back legs and chin are brightly coloured, and are used during mating season to display, although the feathers' colours never fade. They are waterproof, like the Marsoise Dragons' slick scaled skin.
They are solitary creatures, but gather in groups known as Fraques during mating season. A Fraque is made up of a hareem of 5 to 8 females and one male.
They are usually dull brown-ish colours, but sometimes they can be unnaturally bright.
