how do you get lock alpha to work so i can color in the lines without loosing the lines or coloring out of them?

did you draw on a whit background or a checkerboard one that is gray and white? if it was on whit then its very har to do lock alpha/ you will have to erase the white and if you mess up the lines then redo them. when done then you add another layer and move the line-layer above that. then you can color on that layer and it should work! i love the lines by the way!
