Bringer of the Moon & Stars

Across the sky I bring the stars,
the moon and all it's light.
It's time to chase the day away
and change from light to night.

My task is not an easy one
to bring into the night.
I have to chase away the sun.
It's power and all it's might.

Alas my power fades at last
when the day begins again.
But I will always chase the sun
for night time always wins.
