So, I started this a few weeks back when I'd learned the Western Black Rhino had gone totally extinct. Several other rhino species and subspecies have gone extinct in recent years. This is a homage to the rhinos, our beautiful unicorns, which are, like the unicorns of lore, being poached to extinction for their horns.
This turned out pretty bad, but when I came back to it, I realized it kind of looks nice, especially if you lean back and squint at it. (No seriously, try it, doesn't it look much better?) I really like my crazy Baobab trees and zig-zaggy sky. (Wait - is that tree in the way back missing a shadow? *Bangs head on desk*) So I'm posting it in the Beginner's Oekaki. Critique if you like. I've tried, and there doesn't seem anything I can do to improve it.
Maybe I'll come back to it, maybe I won't. Anyway, if you like the picture I encourage you to support rhino conservation, and learn more about rhinos in general.
