I'm practicing shading.
I want to know how to improve, I'd appreciate comments/tips/critique
Also, Is there a way that I can make a seperate shading layer, that lets me see the color underneath? I've been trying to figure it for a long time

You can make a layer on top of the colored layer for the shading. Just make it "multiply" instead of "normal" like the other layer

No problem. This looks pretty good, though the lines seem to have faded into the coloring a bit. How many layers do you use?

I colored in the lines, I dunno why, just experimenting I guess xD
I have a Background layer, a sketch layer, a layer for the color, a layer for the lines and thats it. So 4 layers in total X3

Ok, sounds good. That's what I usually do and then I just add more layers wherever I need. I usually end up with at least 9 layers once I'm done.
