"Before the war. . ." Diablo murmured, "I was happy. . . I had a herd, a caring master, and a loyal friend."
Jinah sighed, wishing she could somehow comfort the spirit that stood before her.
"Your loyal friend was my mother, correct. . .?" she asked hesitantly. The albino stallion nodded. Jinah looked up into his crimson eyes.
"What was it like?" she asked, her voice and eyes filled with wonder. Diablo looked up to the cloud covered sky and sighed.
"Oh, it was beautiful, Jinah," he said, his voice seemed to be a bit detached, "Everything was bright. The clouds were white instead of this ghastly green, and the air smelled clean and fresh. The world I knew and the world you know are very different things, child. . . I wish you could've seen it."
My horse character, Diablo, thinking about his life before the world war broke out. Jinah is a wolf who was born during the war, so she never knew of peace. The story that is written above is just a piece of a larger one I'm writing.
I don't really like how I drew Diablo. . .I'm still getting used to my new computer and the mouse slides around a lot. Anywho, I hope you like it.
