"Wait, you're not really going there, are you?" I barked lowly, calling him back. "Brother, are you mad ?! Don't do it!"
"Bah, come on, mom already told us they don't come near here since she and dad were very young!" He was now, in front of the river. I ran to him, expecting him just to stay there staring at the cold water. But no, he didn't. He gave a step back, and got impulse to jump... But he failed. He fell on the cold water, the strong flow drowning him.
I didn't even think, I just jumped in the river and swam after him. The problem was: How could I swim if I didn't know how to?
I swallowed my own bubbles as I was going down in the cold water."
