This is the beginning of a new animal i might create, and critique and redlining would be VERY helpful! just post here saying what i should do better! i don't mind at all, i know it is sort of bad right now. i will add your name to the list if you want to redline. thanks for help and support!

Overall, the body isn't too bad. However, it should have some shoulders. You should probably look at a reference, either for a canine or feline, because even though you said this is going to be a completely new animal, it still looks a bit like a dog or wolf.

Also, what is redlining? XD ... I might be able to help you a bit more if you told me about it. I've seen other people do it, but I'd need an explanation to be able to do it myself :3
