... Kenji the always-unhappy betta. He's got the nastiest attitude, but he's such a beautiful fish and an extremely entertaining little beast. He watched me the whole time over my shoulder. xD I think he poofed over the fact that I can't draw brick through glass and water very well. >.>;; Or maybe I upset him by getting the shades of his plants wrong, I don't know.

Or maybe he just flared because I exist. He does that.

And yes, before I get questions, that's how a chocolate betta's fins look. It's a really strange coloration... but that translucent edge is stunning when he's not... ah, sitting, staring and flaring for reasons unbeknownst to mankind.

I love him!!! I used to have a Beta and I named him Dummy. Dummy would flare up at his own reflection. I don't know what happened but one morning Dummy was dead. I miss Dummy. Great artwork, by the way. Very good.

My old Betta female Dahlia (rest in peace my wittle mermaid) used to pout and be depressed every time I changed her water. She would just chill at the top of the tank and not move, staring out from her bowl -_- eventually she'd get over it and swim around. Bettas can be so peculiar...
