In the transition between the second and third series, the Erins killed him off. :c A friggin tree got struck by lightning and fell on him. sdfgjdsklfjglsnlbsn. That's not even believeable D: While Squirrelflight was describing what new happens, somehow she just squeezed in, "Oh yeah. Rainwhisker died."

Rainwhisker, Ashfur, and her were like the three musketeers D: Stupid Brambleclaw had to go and mess it up >:C

Oh well. Enough ranting.

I loved him too. He, like nearly all of my favorite characters, got killed off. Why couldn't it have been Thornclaw? He doesn't even do anything and he's old and there's no point in still having him, but no, all my faves have to get killed instead. Shall I list them all?
Tigerclaw/star, Tiny/Scourge, Rainwhisker, Ashfur, Flametail (I was ready to kill Jayfeather; I'd rather he have died trying), Longtail (I almost quit reading the books), Hawkfrost and I'm sure there's someone I'm forgetting.

And I loved the AshXSquirrel combo. In my opinion, Sorreltail should've been with Brambleclaw. I have a lot of issues with the books though...I'm surprised I'm still reading them; they went down hill after the second arc.

I thought the first series was amazing, and the second one was really good too, though not as good as the first. The third got a little crazy to me... but it was still decent in the beginning. But the fourth series just really bugs me >:C I hate Brambleclaw so much.

Before I go on I'm going to let everyone know that if your not in the Fourth Apprentice series you shouldn't read below. (Contains SPOILERS)

I love Scourge and Hawkfrost too <3 And I literally cried when Willowpelt sacrified herself to save her kit that died like a book later. Swiftpaw and Brightpaw/Lostface/Brightheart made me so sad too.

And I love Berrynose (aka Berrystumpytail xD) and I don't know why. He's so annoying xD But I hate how the Erins made him a player. One sister dies, he goes to the other one and mates with her T.T

Daisy, Purdy, and Millie should all die. Or change their names to warrior ones! They're such a disgrace! I understand Firestar didn't have warrior blood, but he proved himself to be a warrior. But those three don't do ANYTHING. Same with Ferncloud. She just has a million kits and doesn't even fight or hunt or anything.

And there are so many more things that break my heart. Like suicidal Hollyleaf who killed Ashfur, and stupid Squirrelflight that chooses the wrong mate (SquirrelxAsh forever) and Brambleclaw that won't get over the fact that Lion/Jay/Holly aren't his kits.

And Sol. I can't even express how much Sol bugs me XD

And why didn't Jayfeather at least TRY to save Flametail!? Who cares what Rock says to him?? Rock betrayed him! Flametail was one of my favs :c

Anyways somehow I always end up ranting about Warriors lol.
