This came out better than l expected...
My species, Acelidirmoor. They are called Lupi Arenam, roughly translated into "sand wolf."
The background I drew was horrible, so I didn't put it up XP

Their ears are like that for a reason- they live in the desert region of Al'clet, which is prone to sandstorms. The strange flap of skin covers the ears, with a third eyelid protects the eyes. This gives them the advantage to hunt, fight, and continue to survive while a several-day-long sandstorm might last.

Also, the "color bank"- the large circles mean coat colors. The smaller, brown ones on the right side indicate marking color (in this case, it is always the same). The smaller, blue ones on the left indicate eye color- lighter coat = lighter eyes.
