Redlining for Vanilla!

Postby Rohan. » Mon Oct 10, 2011 1:40 pm

Okay so i red lined it and in the green is some notes

Youll notice i moved both drawings down so you can see the wolfs back.
1) your muzzle was too long. shorten it a bit and that curve on the top should be the other way as you see on mine.
2)it helps while making the head if you draw a circle it makes it all line up better and makes the for head a bit easier to draw
3) your wolf had no legs....

Also you had 4 layers put down but you did your drawing on the first one which isnt a great idea, it makes changing the background harder, what i do is make 6 layers,
1 = NO TOUCHY LAYER
2 = background layer(i usually add extra bg layers to make the backgroud easier to edit)
3 sketch
4 touch up on the sketch
5 final lines
6 shading lighting

Hope this helps some!! (btw the position the wolf is in at the moment makes it look kinda pouty... lolz)

yay it helped! Well i had fun redlining it so :P also touch pads arent so bad once ya get the hang of it theyre just a bit more difficult than mouses, but all the drawing tools(mouse, touch pad, tablets) have their own ups and downs
