I would not say that it's not intermediate worthy but it's also a little better than a beginner. You're kind of at an in between.
The main problems I see is in the skull area and the back leg. You either need to tilt the muzzle to match the tilt of the eyes or tilt the eyes to match the tilt of the muzle. Right now it looks as if something hit the dog's muzzle and it never went to a vet to get fixed, and it healed that way. Another thing I see is te ears. Their shape is alright, however they are a bit to far back on the head. I'm not sure how to explain to you to fix it without getting you a redline. :]
The front leg without the blue and black shirt thing (not sure what it is, if it's markings or a shirt, ahaha. XD ) Seems connected to far up, like his shoulder is dislocated severly. Lowering a bit might help and also placing it a tiny bit farther back might also help so it doesn't look so painful for the dog.The back leg seems a little to short. If you were going for a perspective look, it's still a little to small for the perspctive unless you were trying for an elongated fun house mirror sort of look.
Your lines and coloring are nice, however the anatomy overall needs a little working on. :] The best way to tell is to actually find pictures of dogs and wolves and study their muscle mass and shape and then also to watch them in real life or on TV/computer to see how they move and the fluidity of their movements. :]
If you didn't want crits, I'm sorry. And If I sounded harsh I didn't mean to. I'm just trying to help. I know myself as an artist is constantly striving to improve so I'd thought I'd offer a littlke advice. ;P
CandyRaver wrote: Haha no worries! I wouldn't put this in intermediate if I wasn't expecting some critiquesI know my anatomy's a little off, but I think the main problem is I'm still trying to make new poses..I can do profile view fine, but stuff like this is a little out of my comfort zone still I suppose.
The-Silver-Wolf wrote:Practice makes perfect. ;P Just keep that in mind. The more of the stuff like this you draw and the more you get feedback and work on the problem areas to make them better, you'll be skyrocketing.
