Well, the idea of rat with bird wings just came up in my mind about 3-4 days ago. At first I draw it on paper and accidently colour it in blue so I base it on a blue bird, Blue jay ( search through google and decide to use this). I'm sorry for the wierd wings, this is the first time I try to draw wings on Oekaki. This is going to be my new character, so don't steal the idea EVER.

What I use to draw: Laptop touchpad and Mouse (I use different computer)
Tools: Pencil, Airbrush, Smudge, Blender, Burn, Dodge
Layers: 5+ (actually a LOT more than this, I use different layers for each feather, and merge them all)
Timer: Not so accurate, I took some time to searching for the reference
Oekaki no.: 18
Reference: Blue Jay wings and pattern (no ref for the rat body)

No! Your's are very good too^^ I cannot draw any sketchy lines(which I want to) or proper line-art on the computer whatsoever, that's why I stick with this type of art, that just start when I start using oekaki. Before that I can only draw traditionaly and scan it. Still I'm not as good as some artist here ><

I think the only way you can improve it is by adding a better background. It's uber cool otherwise!
