I apologize to just now be getting back to you, as I was away this weekend without internet. ^^;
@Vampiron: Thank you very much. :3
@crhyoyo: I'm very happy to have inspired you, as that was my intention. ^^ I see so many young artists get frustrated because "they're not good enough" and "no one likes their artwork." I didn't magically start drawing at the level I do now. It's taken nearly a decade of consistent practice and exercise.
But I draw for myself and because it is fun.

The best way to improve is to just keep at it and not give up. I think anyone with a lick of artistic talent is capable of doing amazing things with the right amount of training and practice.
@Mrs. Awesome: crhyoyo has it pretty much on the mark. It's not always that they aren't payed well, but that the market is so competitive and the jobs specifically aimed towards artists are relatively few.
There's also this notion that "art should be free. It's just a drawing" Lots of people end up getting ripped off or undersell themselves.
But, yeah, you can't buy food or anything because you'll likely not have a job with that profession.
@DiamondEyes: XDD Thank you very much. It has a bit of a special place in my heart, I admit, though I'm not sure why other than the embarrassment level it holds.
Perhaps, and I thank you for it, though I imagine such a thing will take many more years still. :3 Thank you very much.
ookami99: Thank you very much. XD I would hope so after such a long time.
