Something I thought I should add: If you're going for better anatomy that's a bit more realistic, don't make the tail so fluffy. Real wolves don't have huge fluffy tails. But of course that's fine if you're going for something more cartoony. Also, nobody likes this, but looking at pictures of real wolves really helps with learning their anatomy. I also like to look at tutorials and drawings in all different styles and poses. That helps with animating the wolves. I have a hard time with the head shape and nose, which I feel I can never get right.
