"How can you bear,
To see me like this?
How can you bear,
To watch me like this?
How can you bear,
With the guilt,
And the pain,
Of your wrongs?
Is your heart begging to let go?
Or are you just a heartless soul?
You've done this to so many,
You must know right from wrong,
But what will you be remembered for?
Being heartless, blind and cold?
Although your smile is taunting,
And your jokes they hide your fear,
If you continue like this,
Will the end come slowly near?
And will you watch,
As your world falls apart,
As what you've done is healed,
And you are chased off?
And will you stare,
Defeat in your eyes,
And see the scars you left?
On so many,
But you don't know,
Exactly what's inside."
By me.
This is just a quick drawing, however, it has much significance. The poor dog shows the fear of a nation, and the bars show how helpless a whole country can be at the hands of a killer. I am mainly talking about how one person, just one, can bomb a whole civilization, and most times no one even knows why. It's quite sad really.
There's also a hint of personal added to this, as I was recently banned from another site not long ago, and although what I feel isn't exactly as strong as the poem is, there is something in there that reflects what I feel.
Comments are greatly appreciated, but no crit. please. This was a quick drawing, but really I want people to discuss what this means to them, and not how much of a fail my drawing is. XD
