Well, at least I get a new breed of horse today. A Holsteiner! Howrse can be nice sometimes... but only if you devote a lot of time to it -.- The Holsteiner is from the 5th puzzle.

I do understand that if nobody payed for passes, then the people who worked for Howrse wouldnt get payed as much, which means no game. I do love howrse though, and its annoying that i cant get passes without paying alot of my equus for them.

I spent probably over $400 on howrse over my time on playing it since a couple of months after it opened. I put a lot of hours in the day to keep my ranking above 1,500, train horses, make money, and more money, and more, but I after a while I sort of slowed down. I enjoyed howrse until they started making changes. Myself and my friend decided to quit when they started The Creation Space. It would be no fair that people would now have to judge coats that players worked hard on and have them shot down by the really great artists on howrse that have the fancy-shmancy coats that everyone likes. And originally, if your coat didn't make it through the first round, you didn't even get a refund of your passes. Howrse should have never been about companions or backgrounds, it was a game about training, breeding, and selling horses- not making the pictures of them look all pretty. I dunno if anyone else shared my opinons- well actually, when they made the topic in the events forum about it, I was posting on there and hoping Owlient would change their mind about this like we got them to change their mind about using the V2 horse images. But Owlient seems to have quite a thick head and tends not to listen to their player's opinions and ideas, but just comes up with random crap that no one really wants in the end.

I know what you mean, this makes me rather irritated too, but I content myself with the special times whre you can buy passes with Equus (sp?). I hope your game picks up soon, but I don't think there's a chance we'll ever see the prices lowered.

Agreed- we don't need Xanthos or Slepnir or whatever, we have plain old horses we worked hard to train and stuff <3 I used to spend hours in a day training a single horse so it would be fully BLUPed and bolded by the end of that day (in agreement that I'd have a foal trained before next update for the EC owner)
