I used to play Howrse too! Depicts my exact feelings about passes too! I only bought them once, but they're not that great and definitely don't go as far as you'd think Yeah, I used to be Lotskie 101 and one of the top shetland breeders but I quit... It just got too hard to keep up, and it wasn't fun anymore since people started taking it way too seriously. It's not really for kids anymore, since so many adults play it.

Escape while you can xD It's near impossible to catch up with the top breeders anymore, they grow em so fast. I was royally ticked when they did away with the customizer thing; I bought several with real money.

Good pic. It pretty much describes howrse perfectly. They've really irritated me with these puzzles. I thought I, a lower ranking player, could finally have a chance to get a Balios if I worked hard enough. I spent hours trying to win competitions, and I was keeping up pretty well too until they decided to put puzzle pieces in the HoPs...It's driving me crazy! They should give everyone an equal chance! I know the company needs money, but I'm sure they get a good deal of it on a regular basis. They shouldn't tease us like this, it's just annoying...-_- Sorry for my ranting, but I really needed to get it out of my system.

I Totally Agree with the Picture. I seriously want to shove this in Ow's face on Howrse ._. "Family friendly site..." Sure, for families and people who can afford to buy passes to get anywhere in the game. Now, I understand Howrse needs money. Money keeps that site running, and that is fine. But what seriously irks me the most with Howrse is that whenever a special event comes along no basic player (who cant afford to use real $ to buy passes) has any real chance at winning any of the truely "special" prizes (say, a Divine Horse?). Some high ranked players may not admit it, but the only way they get up to ranking around 1st and such is because they buy so many passes. Without buying passes, be use to being a low ranking player with perhaps no divines and no real chances. You have hardly any chance at making it anywhere in the game. "Sorry, kids! You didnt buy passes! See that shiney, pretty, high skilled horse over there that high players get? You cant have it! "

haha thats why I deleted my account. I bought an immortal unicorn filly for only 20k and I was a poor person too. But Howrse just got me so frustrated so i deleted it. I'm actually not disappointed about it either, What you say is true XD.

I've been on Howrse for years. I started out with normal accounts, and when one got deleted, I would start another. I was on Howrse when horses had one or two greenstars at MOST, and when the horses were not as horse-y, and things like that. I'm actually pretty decent at getting BM items without using real money though, so yeaah...Anyways...

I've lost tons of respect for Howrse over my teenage years, mostly because of the way that everything they do is something to benefit themselves, and not for the people who play Howrse. They're another big company who glances at their paycheck before they do something, in my opinion. [Which is what I think of WQ, but I won't get into that...]

Remember the event where you had to hatch the giant egg, everyone? That wasn't an event that normal players could win. It was an event for people who had big families, money to spend, and a lot of time on their hands. The whole point of the egg event was so they could get more people on their website, and thus more money.

Howrse has to pay somehow, I understand, but jeez xD

I understand your pain. D: I thought I actually had a chance at getting Balios from the puzzles, but then I got the enter the Grand Prix thing... bye-bye Balios. But I love howrse anyways! <3
