My baby..

My pet cat scooter is now 11 years and 5 months old according to my vet. He has been with me since i was a little kid and now his liver is failing him. I've been crying all day because he is likely to die tonight or sometime this week. All he does now is lay around, not eat or drink, and when he does walk he can barely even stand. We are force feeding him now but he keeps throwing it back up. The vet injected him with fluids making him have a hump on his shoulder that won't go away yet.

My cat minstrel who was 17, had the same problem! She was put down... 
Quitting, giving everything to my sister snappyfish.

My friend's cat had liver failure too, it was a very young cat, sadly, but he had to be put down. My friend cried at school, and we all were real sad too. 
I hope your cat gets better though.

lugia492 and 23Inugami- yeah... i just hope these NEW meds help. the old vet we took him to said pay for the tests or put him down basicly, but my mom was about to put him down when she decided to get a second opinion. Now we actually know whats wrong, she even explained what to do, how to force feed him, and everything. for heavens sake the old vet said an ultrasound was 1000 bucks and in this vet its only 200 bucks! I'm glad we got a second opinion because that old vet gave us no hope for his survival. I feel a lot better to know he ACTUALLY DOES have a chance to pull though now.
