Anyway, as you can see, this is about Animal Abuse.

No, please take time to read this.
This isn't something you see and are like, "Oh, come on, NOT ANOTHER ONE!!"
This actually means something. TO ME.

Look, what I mean is that animals have as much right to live on the planet as we do. The were created and so were we.

People abuse animals to take their anger out on them. And probably for other various reasons.


Animals are my life. You can tell because I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 2 turtles, 3 ferrets, and about 9 fish. I used to have so many hard it's litteraly hard to keep track. I am an animal lover and would like to keep them on this planet.
No, I don't live on a farm, and these animals are not forced apon me, either.

Want to know how I got them?
The ferrets were from breeders, because that's one of the only places you can get them. One of them was originally a present for my cousin. But when she couldn't take care of it, we didn't leave Roxy to die. We didn't give her away. We kept her.
Another one of my ferrets, Freddy, was given to my mother when a friend of her aunt's couldn't keep it as he entered college.
She kept Freddy, and although she is old, Freddy is in great health, about 9 or 10 years old while the adverage ferret lives 5-6 years.
Both of our cats were strays. We took them in, even though we knew we'd have to work harder for more money.
But we kept them.
Brandy, my dog, we adopted from the SPCA shortly after finding our cats.
The turtles were gifts, but we kept them. And I refuse to let anyone take them away and release them into a pond.
I can keep them healthy, if I have to work harder or not.



My point here is that animal abuse is wrong and animals have as much as a right to live as we do. You can't just beat the =m to take out your anger or anything. They reply on you.

EDIT: Oh, and just so ya'll know, I'd appreciate comments and/or likes, but whatever you do, there's NOTHING you CAN DO to change my mind about animal abuse being wrong.

I feel the exact same way. So many people act as if animals don't amount to anything, you can treat them however you want, they don't have any rights, all because we stupid humans have an obsession with superiority. I love animals with all my heart, they are amazing, and have as much a right to live and be happy as we do. Contrary to what most people think, animals were not simply put on this earth for us to use as we please. God originally created animals to live in peace with the humans, and the only reason we kill them is because we were idiotic enough to fall to sin. It's not their fault. I love animals, having three myself. I applaud you, thank you for making this more widely known.

I have a cat and he is de-clawed for a reason. He was very aggressive as a kitten and bit and scratched so we had him de-clawed. but we don't plan on abandoning him..He's our stupid cat and we love him anyways...:3

Thank you, AquaAngel. And I agree with your statements as well. If animals were made for abuse, God would not have created them, for he is peaceful.

The only REASONABLE reason to kill animals is for FOOD. And NO, I do NOT mean the sport of hunting. I mean when you need it for survival. And, if you DO kill an animal for survival, it's nice to know that you DID use the skin/fur, too, and not waste of it. You killed the animal that did nothing. Use it for food, warmth, and whatever else you could.



And Vampire Lover, that doesn't bother me. ^-^ Unless he's an outdoor cat. If he's always indoor, than that is like, not even a thought to me. But truth is, cats rely on their claws more rather than their teeth. They use claws to climb, and fighting. The cat's main attack on an enemy dog is scratching the nose. Therefore, they are proven to use their claws more often/ You could search it, and it would probably come up somewhat the same. They might use their teeth somewhat for fighting and hunting, but they still usually use their claws more often.

Sometimes my one cat, Chewy, will sneak out when someone opens the door. Then the poor kitty gets scared and hides under my mom's car. xD

no offense, but that's silly, My cats bite and scratch me all the time, now I'm used to it, I even go to my cat and say "BITE ME!" We have fun play fighting :3

Though it's good you won't abandon him, also, I agree: animal abuse is pointless

My cat eats things normal cats shouldn't as well. He eats cantaloupe, ice cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, olives, subway sandwiches, tea, pepsi..etc..

Animal's are amazing creatures to me, God created them for a reason did he not? No, the reason is not to be abused, but probably to live like us and enjoy life.
We don't know what animals think when we hurt them and because we don't know is why we do it I think. If you abuse a dog for example, for such a long time it will change. It will be scared of you, and probably all other humans and act aggressively because it doesn't want to get hurt again. Abuse is what messes animals up, makes them "mean" per say.
God's beautiful creatures are being hurt for no good reason! It needs to be ended sooner rather than later!

I agree to this purpose, and if didn't adopt my two miracle dogs from the SPCA, they would have died there. It breaks my heart to think that if I adopted anther dog, that they would have died. Why would you leave these poor animals to die? No matter what the animal did to you, its not nearly as bad as what you're doing to the animal. And whatever the animal did to you, it was probably in self defense, not to purposely hurt it's master. My dog, Sammy, and I were playing, and he accidentally jumped up on my face and scratched it from the forehead down, and yes, it hurt like hell, but did I throw him across the room, let alone smack him? NO! Not his fault. As I speak, animals that did nothing, are being put through the worst pain imaginable and worse. They just want to be by your side, and have someone talk to them, and just pet them. Some dogs would rather starve and get attention from humans than eat and miss any time away from them! And its not just dogs, it's cats, too! -but I'm not gonna go into a speech about that, because even thinking about animal abuse can upset my buddy here. The only soft spot she has is animals, and when they get hurt, its a major heartbreak to her.- But I think I can speak for the both of us and all of you here when I say this needs to end. And I mean NOW. Not tomorrow, not 5 minutes from now, not 10 seconds from now. NOW. AS I POST THIS. AS YOU READ THIS MORE AND MORE LIVES ARE BEING LOST FOR NO GOOD REASON! And Michael Vick deserves NOTHING. Not even to be on the Philly Eagles. Anyway, I think I can speak for everyone who posted here when I say this post can at least be awarded with a supporting BUMP
