As far as the bridle, I hadn't ever seen the reins before either, but they are in her reference. I couldn't see in detail, because my computer shows darker than most but I extrapolated that there is a leather loop that goes over the d-ring snaffle, then the rope reins attach through the little leather loop. Her reference photo shows it but it was over the top of the horse and I wanted to show the dappling and sun spot. I think there is also a loop that goes between the reins but I couldn't see it. I was doing my best since I haven't been around horses since 1984. : ( Not that I haven't wanted to be.
