Very nice! The dragon looks overall very well done. I like the marking too ^^

And, I think you said you were looking for a bit of critique? I know you said this is your first time at doing a background, and it's pretty darn good for a first attempt. The only thing I would suggest -in addition to what has already been suggested- is to maybe hint a direct point of light/sunshine in the sky or peeking out from behind the mountains. I personally think it will give the shading on the dragon a better look and add interest to the sky. Other than that though, I think you're good!

Thank you! Once i figure out how to make the sky and sun look actually good then i will go back and fix this.
