This is a tribute to my hamster, Runt. She died on 12/20/10, not even living a full year before she succumbed to the clutches of illness. Also to my hamster Sleepy, he died earlier of sickness whic is even worse. WHY?!?

Has anyone else felt this pain?

I wish I had been there when she died. Also, I wish that I had a tablet to make her memory better. I wish I could've saved her. But all the wishing in the world won't bring her back.

They are chinese dwarf hamster. They look like that, but have a small thin black stripe down their backs. Buttercup is another hamster, and her fur is a teeny bit golden aroung the face/head.

First I had two hamsters.
Then Eleven.
Then two got adopted, 9.

i had a hamster named hamtaro (hammy for short) he was a golden colored hamster with a little bit of white. he lived a very long time and i got him when he was a teeny tiny little thing and he was meh bestest freind but he died old and coverd in fleas we tried to save him but even a single flea causes a hamster pain. when he died we buried him and planted sunflower seeds on his grave. ohh and sunflowers were his favorite food.

aww its really sad when pets die
i remember when my cat Blackie past away. My neighbors were fumigating their house and he hid under the house cuz he got scared. i miss him. anyway i was inspired by ur drawing and made one myself.

valerie i read detiny cant what till the next page! i saw the picture you dedicated to your cat iz so butititifulll. my cats really old and her name is blackie to! hopefully she will keep on living. her sister suffers from mental problems and is a spazz with a broken tail.
