4-14 I changed the name to Field of Dreams today because it really is a dream horse on a dream home background near the ocean with rolling hillside landscape.
4-17 Duh... today i was looking at it and looking at it again... I realized there's all grass, nothing but grass, no bushes, no weeds, no scotchbloom, no dandelions or wildflowers... that's what it was missing. I knew something was wrong, I just couldn't place it and that's it, it looks more like a perfectly manicured golf course than a field, lol. Will be added this weekend. Hope you enjoy. Dpne
4-18 By the way folks, I have had an overwhelming amount of requests for art, so please, if you do want art, hold on to me as a reference and ask again in a few weeks, I have enough to keep my busy for quite a bit of time.
4-23-11 I guess I'd have to say finished after all the crits and compliments. I added in the backgrounds detail and I think I got carried away. I added Scotchbloom which, if you've ever been to the Oregon coast, grows almost anywhere and especially along the coast. I added a bird, buttercups, an unknown purple flower and daisy's. I added some very windblown trees and a broken off stump and log as well. All in all, I like how it turned out even though I got carried away. I hope everyone enjoys the finished work as much as they did the original. I only put down what I saw and yes, I just went to the beach today so I'd know what to put in. Oh, by the way, the yellow foreground is Mustard, not Tansy.
