ha! i know what it reminds me of, apart from the fact that the fur is grey, in twilight/ new moon can't remember which one, the close up of jacob when bella first sees him as a wolf.

This looks GREAT! I love eyes, and my standards for them are kind of high. I love your lighting, and the overall effect was magnificent. Really I think the only thing you messed up at all was the basic outline, and even those mistakes are minor.

(Oh, just to let you know, I am what is known as a grammar nazi - it's spelled 'irk,' not 'urk'.)

Anyways, I'm glad I didn't make that many mistakes- other than my spelling. Haha. I know how irk is really spelt, but even so, I don't know why, but I spell it urk.

hope you dont mind cunstructive criticism from me =)

first, i LOVE the pupil and the iris, you did an amazing job on that part, better than i could do =)

however, there are some problems with the fur, as well as some proportions and shape.

first, the fur. you generally have the right texture and shades and you almost (so close!) have the directions right. the biggest i see is on the left side, the fur doesnt really flow together as it should. as well as the direction under the eye isnt going the right way, it needs to be more angled to the right.

the shape of the entire eye is a little off as well, its a tad too stretched out and it has too much of a diamond shape to it. here is an eye i did, its a dogs eye, this should give you a better reference to the shape. this photo should also give you a good idea of fur, although i kinda gave up and left it a little sketchy... http://maineac92.deviantart.com/art/Eye-207363562
