This is Blu from the new movie RIO, that I really want to see, it was random ill post my refrence at least tom
(I drew a picture of him while I was in school it looked better than this

)

Plus I take art requests from pen and paper to mouse and computer so P.M me for a request

i use straight line because i have a mouse so it doesnt come out well when its all over the place

I found out a trick to make good curvy lines! Use the smoothing tool! It's in the place where you control the brush size and opacity, and once you put it high to say, 70%, profit.
Layers also help A LOT. You make one layer for a sketch if you want a sketch, then another layer on top of the sketch layer to make your lines, then you either hide or delete the sketch layer, and make a layer below the sketch and line layer for coloring.

And yes, using layers and the smoothing tool makes art look awesome. This art piece is still great even if you didn't use layers! :3

Yes, layers aren't needed, but they help a lot.

I use a mouse all the time. It just takes practice. But do you really think you're practicing with a mouse when you're just using the straight line tool all the time? And yes. Layers help a TON. I could not LIVE without them.
