[The wild one]

Bloodstone sighed and got to his feet. He was tired from his long day at the C.R.A, working out a problem with a new weapons system. He walked past his daughter's room carefully, not wanting to disturb the pup's sleep, when he heard a soft whimper. He paused and listened. The sound was continuous, meaning that it was not a noisy dream.
He backed up and walked into Nightwind's room. She was curled up on the dirt floor, her head tucked between her forepaws. Bloodstone's stomach lurched when he saw tear tracks running down the pup's face.
"Nightwind," he said, his deep voice rumbling in his chest, "What's wrong, dear?"
Nightwind looked up, her expression startled. She hadn't heard her father come in. She sniffed and shook her head.
"Nothing," she murmured, avoiding eye contact. Bloodstone walked closer to her.
"Yes, there is something wrong. My tomboy of a daughter does not cry unless something has bothered her," he said, sitting down in front of Nightwind. The two of them gazed at each other for a few minutes; Nightwind did not want to tell her father what was bothering her, and Bloodstone refused to leave until his daughter talked. Nightwind finally sighed, giving up.
"Some pups at school were picking on me today," she said quietly. "They were calling me a half-breed and that I was worthless." She dissolved into tears again. The sight made Bloodstone's heart ache. He hated seeing either of children in pain, physically or emotionally. He stood up and walked up to Nightwind. The pup curled up, her cries now soft hiccups. Bloodstone put a paw gently over his daughter's back and pulled her closer.
"Don't you ever mind what anyone says about you, Night," he said gently. "You are you and no one can change that. You are perfect."
"I'm not perfect," Nightwind murmured.
"You are perfect to me," Bloodstone said, nuzzling her gently.

This picture was inspired by P!nk's song, "Perfect". I got the image of Bloodstone talking to his daughter, Nightwind, telling her that she was perfect in his eyes.
Blood's such a good father, isn't he? =3. He doesn't seem like he would be a very good father, considering the fact that he's a war-hardened Commander of one of the strongest armies in the known universe, but he is actually a very loving father. Comes from the fact that there is no mother to look after his kids anymore.

And I was wondering, what do you guys imagine Bloodstone's voice to sound like? In my head, his voice sounds like Aslan's(the lion from the Narnia movies, who's voiced by Liam Neeson, by the way). I don't know why, that's just the voice my head's given him it seems. Anyway, what have you guys imagined his voice to sound like? Like, what movie/video game/ TV show character do you think he would sound like, or is the voice you'd think he'd have? I'm just curious xD.

Yay first comment! Anyway i kind of pictured him like aslan too but not as deep of a voice. Same basic voice though, strong, loving, yet proud. I hope you understood what i meant by that! I love your comic too!

Her name was Selene. She died, when Nightwind and her twin brother, Nitro, were little, of a disease. That's why she's not around to look after the two little munchkins.
