I don't know if that's someone's horse or not. I thought appropriate.

I used absolutely no references except my memory of what an Arabian looks like and from being a horse lover. It's supposed to be just kind of coming out of bucking. I used to show Arabians for a woman back in 1984 and that is how long it's been since I've ridden or been near horses although I did see a welsh pony yesterday and have watched a few horse shows on tv.

Critiques please. I know there's something a bit off and I know the neck doesn't tie in correctly and is a little large but again this is my very first drawing using the system so I only did a sketch. I'll work on it and color it later.

Great job drawing this. ;P not all art has to look perfect but if your thinkig something is wrong; the neck looks abit too long. But i love this drawing.

Thank you for the critiques. I shortened the neck and took out some of the dark shadow in the neckline. I think it looks a lot better now. After I'm finished getting critiqued I'm going to move it up and complete the legs and a background. I'm enjoying CS art, it's fun.

Naw, but I try hard, lol. Thank you for the compliment. I have so many commissions that this little guy is on the sideline for now, but I'm going to make him coming off a jump rather than a buck. I decided his back was not rounded enough for it to have been a buck. : ) <------- critiques self.

I am a horse lover as well, (Freak might be a bit more fitting) and as soon as I saw this pic in the oekaki, I thought, 'Oh I love it!' Of course, I love anything horsey, (wich is obvious by the fourty eight horse posters watching me at this very moment!). I think it looks beautiful, and I avidly await to see it in color! Bravo and excelent work!

Thank you. That was my very first oekaki by the way. I never went back to it, but I might now that I know more about how to move it to the right, I may finish the legs and make it a hyperactive horse colored in. Probably would be in a paddock after someone had just turned them out... usually when they buck like this.
