Since red wolves are so endangered and most of the problem is their breeding population goes out and mixes with other canines, they trap them and test their blood to see if they're mix breeds or not. If they find one, they either kill it or sterilize it so it can no longer breed with the rest of the population.

Since the mother wolf was taking care of the puppies, I think there were five or six, they took them away and killed them so she would be able to breed again and sooner.

it does make sense.... BUT KILL THEM! mixed is better than NONE, some people need to be gratefull for what they have!..... and if they where a mother (or father) they wouldnt kill any mixed babies they had (if they did) people cant act like they rule the world i mean seiriously

True... But they're trying to keep the species alive still. But very true. How would you feel if you were...25 percent italian, 25 percent mexican, and 50 percent german and they killed you because you were?
