Day 2: Found
Thomas resumes his search hours later, checking holes in rocks and getting chased off by more then a few unhappy fish and other reef and rock dwellers before peeking into a small rock face and seeing a pair of mismatched eyes watching him back, he let out a chirp of surprise and the other let out a little trilling sound of apologies.
The other slowly moved out of the rock, a fluffy mane hiding most of their body and then their other limbs slowly folding out to hang onto the rock and not get pushed around by the waves, they started communicating in a series of chirps and squeaks as Thomas explained his plight and Andrew listened before he shook his head saying he'd never seen a family of seals crossing the area lately.
Thomas whined and looked around Andrew watched quietly before brightening and offering to help him look, swimming out of his dwelling and Thomas nodding quickly in thanks before they set off.
