This is something I find very interesting that has been happening for the past few months...I started feeding the local birds early last year, which has been so awesome! But these past few months I've noticed this one Blue Jay stands out from the others, whenever they fly down from the tree to get some peanuts I put outside, they are followed by a little flock of sparrows! They don't fly off once the Blue Jay leaves, they stay around a bit longer eating up the bird seed.

So far I've not seen them do it to any other Blue Jay but this one...it inspired me to sketch it out! :D
Will be finishing this up at some point as I would love to make it a finished piece.

Bird watching is beyond awesome, 12/10 recommend!

Lovely lovely drawing!! Your bird anatomy is on point!! And wow, that's very interesting! I've never seen such a thing before. I wonder what about that Blue Jay has those sparrows so interested haha!

And totally agree! Birding watching is SO awesome!! I'm thinking of buying new binoculars in the new year to up my game haha! XD Happy New Year to you too!

This is utterly amazing, I have only seen a blue jay once or twice irl but my, they are beautiful! Can't wait to see the finished outcome, and hope you have a great New Years Eve aswell! <3
