that's really sad.
i go to a christian school and it irks me every time they say that humans are the 'best' that we're 'special'. are we not animals too? we can kill ther living things for no reason at all. what separates us from the animals?

I don't agree with horse slaughter or any other kind of animal cruelty. It just irritates me on a low grade level that people always say how much they hate animal cruelty, like they're saints, and it's like they assume that no one else is. and how people always seem to say that humans are terrible, terrible creatures because we're the ones who are mistreating the animals in the first place. Well, yeah we are, but that's a minority, and a lot of humans are trying to save the animals. You're saying that because some people abuse animals all of humanity is evil. that's like saying that all Christians sit in stone churches or that all blondes are dumb.
Sorry for venting my long-term irritation on this thread.

I don't agree with horse slaughter as much as the next person because most of people were grown up as what nowerdays people call a ''common human.''

even though I love horses and dissagree with people killing them for meat, its thee same as slaughtering a cow, a chicken or a pig but as they are classed as clea animals, not alot of people feel for them. And when we knew nothing but to hunt to live, if their was a horse, we would of had to to survive.


What I mainly disagree with is slaughter. They should kill them swiftly and as quick as they can, and to treat them verywell with TLC and then after hand cut them into what we buy in stores.

Don't take me as if I like killing them. I love them too much, but my parents wont get me one, so I am trying to save enough money up to bid on one that may go to someone who will slaughter them. I am stronglyy against it, and theese are my opinions.
