Me getting scammed by ringtail slime because it eats endlessly and I keep thinking it'll drop something every time

i went into slime rancher 2 completely blind, avoiding all the screenshots and stuff until i could play
so im wandering around and in an entire day i got an entire collection of ringtail statues (not knowing what they were) because i thought they were cool, left again to get some boom slimes for upgrades and came back at night to find no statues and all my crops gone

long story short they are in permanent timeout now in a corral at the back of the den. now they get to watch all my tabby-phospor largos eat cuberries and cry about it
