and if you don't like using oekaki, you're in luck! when you buy the base, you can also get a .PSD file with all of the layers that you'd get in the oekaki version. any art program that can open layers and .PSD files should work! the file will just be a straight download from my sta.sh, so no shady third party websites will be involved >:)
for those who don't have fancy art programs and want a free one, i can personally recommend ibisPaint X for mobile and firealpaca for PC.
the only strict rule i really have is that you credit me for the original base! if you upload it to toyhou.se, credit unizxbra! if you upload anywhere else, credit my toyhouse or link back to this post
some stuff you can do
- ☆ make adopts! you can sell the designs you make on this base for currency, both real and virtual
☆ you can create references for existing characters, create new characters, or just color it in for fun
☆ make line edits! go as wild as you want with editing the lines, i don't mind what you add or remove as long as my signature stays on the image
☆ you can use this off-oekaki! a PSD file will be provided for you!
- ☆ don't remove my signature! it's on its own layer named "signature." you can move it around as much as you want to though as long as it's visible
☆ don't profit off of the base itself! for example, you can sell designs you create on the base, but you can't resell the base itself, even if you've made some changes to it.
☆ as this is a paid base, please don't redistribute it to anyone.
☆ would prefer that you don't use this base as official lineart for creating a closed species
- ☆ highly recommended that you have some experience with oekaki and with multiple layers as there are a lot of layers and folders included!
☆ i use ChickenPaint v2.0
☆ for lineart, i use the pen tool: size 2, pen pressure on for both stroke and opacity, full opacity and 0 spacing
☆ the piercings are all on one layer rather than having different layers for each individual one to make things easier! this also goes for the bracelets. just erase the ones that you don't want to use!
☆ delete all of the lines and folders that you won't need to declutter the layers section
☆ merge and move layers as needed if it's easier for you
