Snowstorm and her sisters lost their mother when they were only 13 moons old. They never knew their father, mainly because he refused to accept them as his kits. They were strangers in camp to each other as far as the sisters are concerned. Their entire birth clan was wiped out during a rockslide; save for them and a little group of other mentors and apprentices who had been out training when the rockslide happened. Snowstorm was the closest to her mother, and was dead set on finding her in the rubble. She laid by her mothers headstone until Hawkthornclaw pried her off it, declaring she must allow her mother to go to Starclan, and that she’d want her daughters to find a new life, even if it was without her.
