for me, the "good old days" was when i would stumble upon random horror media and end up getting a new hyperfixation,,,,, i feel bad for all of the other elementary school kids i knew XD

YES,,,,,,,,I also remember getting those pop-ups that your computer had a trojan virus back in like,,,,,idk,,,,,,,,2005? 2006?

the first time, I went to my dad sobbing because I thought I ruined his expensive desktop. I was literally so upset. and he just came upstairs and closed the tab

ohhh yeah definitely remember that for sure. lets not forget those ones that promise great riches if you pass it on to 50 people within 5 minutes or face poverty if you ignore it ljsdgljs! xD

I remember going to this one website (I don't even remember what it was or how I got to it) and backtracking so fast because my huge, bulky laptop at the time started getting bombarded with pop-ups and 'Congratulations!' tabs that were saying that I had won several things at once. I was immediately like, "AborT, ABORT AAAAA" XD

I knew from past experiences on my old bulky desktop that I was not going to have a fun time if I didn't get out of there straight away. Yea
