[Cerulean Wake]

I saw hubble do the opposite style challenge so i wanted to try too, but i sorta just did my own style again I think? I'm just not satisfied with it

here's what I meant to do:
Lines >>> lineless
painted shading >>> airbursh
No background >>> background
semirealistic style >>> more cartoony

if anyone has any idea of what could be an opposite to my style, could you put some ideas in comments? i'm stumped :')

You kinda ended up doing a lined style even though you were going for lineless! Maybe make use of soft shadows and more contrast instead of lines

i love your art!!! i think the opposite of your style would be depicting abstraction, something not centered on characters being vessels for feelings and experiences but like, feelings and experiences put into art in a personal unrestrained kind of way, that only you would fully understand

(versus the laws of character design [which u are GOD at] wherein the person they are/the action they're doing is meant to be recognizable and the elements draw on outside reference to depict reality as people know it. while like idk what genre of art i'm thinking of, it kind of doesn't fit with reality because it's completely and solely reflective of your own, the one inside you?? something like that. so drawing cerulean except not as a functioning character, integrating her design into like, a personal emotional painting piece something like that maybe)
