Valentine's day: The day of love. I hate it.
It wouldn't be so bad if people went out becasue they like eachother, not becasue of how hot they are. Am I the only peoson who finds that desprate and shallow? You don't go out because of that. It's sad when a dude come up to you that you've never met and flat out asks you to be their girlfriend becasue they want one. (That happens TWICE today.) In the current standings, dating is a symbol of statis mostly. A popular person never goes out with anyone who's not, and usualy if you ask them why they like the other person, their reply is "He/she's hot." Really people?! This isn't love, It's a statis symbol, and might I add a sad one at that.
People ask me why I don't date. That's why.

Athough I really did see people who cared about eachother today, which is a first. Kissing in the halls though is desturbing. XD
I've met popular people that are terribly nice, actually, and I have nothing agenst them. It's just usualy they're the ones who do that where I am, and I'm venting.

I agree. I love Valentine's Day, but people should love each other for who they are, not because they're "popular" or "hot". I actually find "popular" people quite unattractive, judging by the way they act mainly. Shallow, rude and just downright stupid.

It doesn't make sense to be "dating" someone when you never even go on a date.
