So for week 12, I wanted to change course a bit to focus more on what genetically rare things can happen to foxes born into fur farms. So Silver here has a sapphire morph red fox and it’s a very rare occurrence. Now this can happen at fur farms and the gene is very weak gene of a red fox. They are known to have a short life since it can cause many health problems such as an anemic, early loss of teeth. Basically whenever they inherit sapphire from both pearl fox parents, you can get “too much” of the weak genes. There is a 1/64 chance of obtaining a sapphire fox when crossing two types of pearl foxes together. I want to say that SaveaFox is an organization that had a sapphire fox named Mouse who unfortunately passed away in October of last year. I hope you enjoy Silver, full name is Silver Fox. Thank you for supporting me and God bless you.
Much love and God bless,
