art theif
a prime topic going around right now
just recently i was made aware that one of my desings had been stolen by the same perosn who has been thieving everyone else
ive never had this happen to me before

i dont even know how to feel right now
it feels like im stuck in a pit of anxiety
knowing that i cant really do anything about it, not feeling like its acually happening, and worrying about it happening again

im not saying that i dont feel safe to post art on her, but my trust has been shattered
from now on, unless if forget, until this whole mess is cleaned up for good and i feel safer
almost all of my art and designs will either be heavily watermarked, or marked in the center with bright red words of "not yours" and "art/design by -chirp-"

i hope that everyone else who has veen affected is doing ok, and that one day you can feel safe to post art on here again
i feel so unbelievably angry at the persom who is causing so much panic because they cant be a decent human and not take art

if anyone else needs to talk about this, or know of other designs of mine that have been stolen, please dont be afraid to contact me

Idk if I’ve been affected, I don’t even know who’s doing this, but I really hope my designs haven’t been stolen at all…. I’m sorry to whoever’s designs have been stolen, too, that’s just awful….

i’ve been falsely accused of it myself on instagram back in 2017,, not fun to pounded for no reason (there was and prob still is the tutorial video still up on how to draw it tbh)

but screw you to whoever stole everyone’s art/designs!! most/all of these artists have poured their love and heart into their pieces/designs, it also causes a big mess,,
please don’t even think about stealing in ANY form,,

i also hope that nobody has been stealing any of my pieces,,, could someone dm me on discord (solos#2902) or on here if someone has,,

jeez, just how many people are they taking from? that's horrible
i've never really thought/worried about my characters being stolen but maybe i should- i can't say it's happened to me (that i know of?) but thinking of it now it's probably something to be cautious about. wish there was an easier way to find out a character was stolen besides stumbling upon them and recognizing
it's terrible to hear this is happening and i don't understand how somebody could take another's art and call it there own, that's just mmm not cool dude. especially if they profit off of said stolen art. i'm sorry to hear it's affected you too :(

I understand what you're going through entirely, I've had ocs and even art that was watermarked stolen from me. I don't post my art in many places anymore because I've been accused of stealing my own art because they saw someone who had copied my lines/art and claimed it as theirs. (it got cleared up over time, and said person was banned from many discord servers and games). If you ever need someone to talk or vent to, my dms are always open. i hope this all turns out better for you, and that the person finally learns <3

I'm gone for a week and I come back to this- I'm not entirely sure what's going on but I know exactly how it feels to have your art stolen. I've been proud of the community coming together to let people know and giving them the heads up when stolen art is found but having such an array of users come forward so suddenly is jarring especially in a place I considered a safe-zone. I only wish you positive vibes and hope that everyone affected or just frustrated along with us feel those vibes too ♥ ((and edit but not edit if someone finds my art somewhere it shouldn't be please let me know ily guys and my DMs are always open here and on Discord))
