So for Week 7, I decided to do something out of my comfort zone and here we have a sub-adult lion. Technically they aren’t adults, but they aren’t cubs either. They are teenagers basically. This is my little jelly bean, Jagger. Jagger is a rare colored lion, white. Fun fact is that white lions are a rare color mutation and are specifically found in The Southern African lions. They aren’t classified as albino because of a recessive trait, called leucism. Leucism is A wide variety of conditions which is a result of partial loss of pigmentation in an animal and that causes the white lions white fur. So they aren’t classified as albino lions because of this recessive trait. So they are quite rare as you can probably tell from the information given and I think that these lions are beautiful and they are definitely by far my favorite lion coloration. I hope you enjoy this and thank you all for the support I have gotten over my art. God bless you all and much love to you all!
Much love and god bless,
